Rigged on 480 lb cable with Mustad 11/0 hooks, we like this 7-ounce head for targeting wahoo with mirror flash and a bubble trail at speeds up to 18 knots.
The RJ Boyle High-Speed Mirrored Wahoo Jet is a fully rigged wahoo trolling lure designed for high-speed trolling at speeds up to 18 knots. Built with a premium resin-constructed glass head and real mirror inserts, the Jet delivers flash and a streamlined profile designed specifically for targeting wahoo.
The Jet head features four jet holes that create a bubble trail behind the lure, adding another level of attraction for wahoo. The Jet is generally fished in the medium and short positions but can be fished anywhere in the lineup.
The mirrored head measures 3 inches long and weighs 7 ounces. Each lure is dressed with two skirts for an overall skirted length of approximately 14 inches.
The Jet comes professionally rigged on 6 feet of 480 lb stainless steel cable with your choice of a single or double hookset using Mustad 7691S 11/0 hooks. The hookset is made stiff with adhesive-lined 1/2-inch heat-shrink tubing. The stainless steel cable leader is finished with a loop for easy attachment to a snap swivel and crimped with a 1.6 mm double-wall copper sleeve.
Fish the RJ Boyle Mirrored Wahoo Jet with or without a trolling lead at speeds up to 18 knots.
